Don Q Rum Tour

¡Excelente recorrido por el ron! Conozca la historia de Don Q mientras recorre una hermosa mansión en las colinas. El guía estaba muy bien informado e hizo que el recorrido fuera muy divertido. La cata de ron fue una excelente manera de aprender sobre el proceso. El curso de coctelería al final fue divertido, definitivamente haré esas recetas en casa. En general vale la pena el dinero y es muy recomendable.

No hice el tour, sino que fui buscando un ron especial para obsequiar en la tienda. La variedad de rones que tienes es poca. No conseguí el ron en particular que estaba buscando. Tampoco tienen alguna envoltura especial que diga que se compró en el lugar. Pongo el comentario pq no logré encontrar esa información en internet, por si le evito la duda a alguien en el futuro.

¡Nuestra guía turística era una chica increíble! Ella era muy divertida y llena de conocimientos. ¡Nos lo pasamos genial y ella hizo degustaciones y cócteles con nosotros! ¡¡Definitivamente lo haré de nuevo!

Llama antes de ir. Puede resultar un poco confuso llegar al lugar del recorrido. Llegue antes de lo previsto. Hay algunos tours que son especialmente para huéspedes de habla inglesa. En general, lo pasé muy bien. Aprendí cómo surgió el ron, el proceso y la historia, probé el ron del barril y tuve una clase de coctelería. ¡Buen lugar para visitar en Ponce!

I definitely was pleased by Awilda Quinones. She was the coordinator for our wedding, and she did a phenomenal job. She definitely went above and beyond her pay grade. She was able to run the whole mansion by herself that day while still organizing and getting our wedding in place. She is a gem and definitely a great person who is eager to help others.

Great tour to learn all about the family that started the Don Q Rum in Puerto Rico. Beautiful mansion, knowledgeable tour guides, and a chance to sample a variety of Don Q drinks.

Very knowledgeable fun tour of the Serralles Castle (impresive view of the city of Ponce) a top a mountain overlooking the sea.
Start the tour with a frozen drink (really good!) at the gift/ reception area. Then tour the castle, watch the film feature and start walking downstairs to the barrels. Start the tasting and open your senses. The tour will teach you how to make 2 awesome rum drinks (including piña colada). Thumbs up

Unique place and cool tour. Natalia our host was wonderful. She was quick witted and informative. Wonderful teacher as well in mixology. One of best tours I've encountered in this genre. Thank you.

Great tour full of information about the history and production of Don Q rum. Also, great views of the entire city of Ponce. I highly recommend it.

The tour sold out online, so I called and they typically have extra spots on the tour! They only sell so many tickets online, but you can walk in and still make it on the tour. Just call ahead.

Super fun tour! You get a welcome cocktail while waiting for your guide. Our guide, Rina, was so fun and I know you’ll have a good time with her. You get a barrel strength tasting and a fun mixology class. The VR portion was really fun, but definitely don’t do it if you’re prone to dizziness or maybe had too much on the tour!

Oh also the person running the souvenir shop gave us a few free samples so we certainly got our moneys worth!

The view of Ponce is also beautiful. We really enjoyed our afternoon here.

As a huge fan of Don Q rum, I so wish I could give our experience a higher rating! Unfortunately, compared to both the Bacardi and Ron de Barrillitos tours, the Don Q tour is not at the level it should be. Our guide meant well, but really didn’t provide any information that wasn’t in the three different videos that we watched at different points during the tour. The Serralles family castle is amazing and worthy of much more commentary. Also, the Mixology part of it just wasn’t that special. Whoever is responsible for it should just go do the three different tours and compare and they will see the difference.

Great experience and service was excellent Normar was knowledgeable about his job, fun and creative.
